Recombinant Murine IL-b produced in E.Coli is a non-glycosylated, Polypeptide chain containing 153 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 17500 Dalton. The rmIL-b is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Anion-exchange FPLC
(c) Analysis by SDS-PAGE

STORAGE:
Although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, it should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution store at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITY:
Murine Interleukin-1 beta is fully biologically active when compared to standard. ED50 range:0.006-0.01 ng/mL, determined by measuring the dose-dependant stimulation of murine D10S cells. Mouse il-1b is active at 0.1 to 10 Ng/mL for most in vitro applications. The optimal concentration for each specific application should be determined by an initiak dose response assay.
