PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Recombinant Human BAFF-R extracellular produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 63 amino acids fused with GST tag and having a molecular mass of 33600 Dalton. The rHuBAFF-R is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

SOURCE:
Escherichia Coli.

FORMULATION:
Each mg contains 1.6mg mannitol and 1.2mg HSA.

PURITY:
Greater than 98.0% as determined by:
(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Anion-exchange FPLC.
(c) Analysis by reducing and non-reducing SDS-PAGE Silver Stained.

STORAGE:
Although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, it should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution it should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

SOLUBILITY:
It is recommended to reconstitute in sterile H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.

BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITY:
Measured in a cell inhibition assay using B lymphocyte cell line. (The ED50 for this effect is typically 50~100ng/ml in the presence of 2.5ng/ml BAFF).

ENDOTOXIN:
Less than 0.1 ng/ug (IEU/ug)
