PROTEIN CONCENTRATION:
1 mg/ml in PBS (after reconstitution).

STORAGE PROCEDURES:
Lyophilized: store at -20°C. After reconstitution, if not used within a month, aliquot and store at -20°C.

STABILITY / SHELF LIFE:
Two years lyophilized, one month in solution at 4°C.

RECONSTITUTION:
Reconstitute with 0.2 ml of H20. Mix gently, wash the sides of the vial and wait 30-60 seconds before use.

TITER:
1:50 dilution will block 80-85% of CTLL or HT-2 proliferative response to 20 ng/ml r.murine IL-4. 1:3000 in dot (Western) blot using r.IL-4.

SPECIFICITY:
Mouse IL-4

CROSS REACTIVITY:
None detected (does not cross react with rat or human IL-4).
