SOURCE:

FORMULATION:
The protein 0.2um filtered solution contains 50mM PBS and 150mM NaCl

STABILITY:
mb-NGF although stable at 14 degrees C for 2 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18 degrees C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

ENDOTOXIN:
Less than 0.1 ng/ug (IEU/ug) of mb-NGF.

DIMERS AND AGGREGATES:
Less than 1% as determined by silver-stained SDS-PAGE gel analysis.

BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITY:
mb-NGF is fully biologically active when compared to standards. Activity was Measured in a cell proliferation assay using a factor-dependent human erythroleukemic cell line, TF-1, the ED50 for this effect is typically 0.3 - 1 ng/ml corresponding to a Specific Activity of 1 x 106 IU/mg.
