Human Omentin is an adipocyte derived protein that counteracts obesity and related insulin resistin. Omentin is comprised of 313 amino acids, and has a molecular weight of 34,977 kDa.

FORMULATION:
Lyopohilized from 5 mM NaP, 7.5 + 0.5% Mannitol.

RECONSTITUTION:
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized product with sterile water at a concentration of 0.1 mgs/ml, which can be further diluted into other aqueous solutions.

STABILITY:
Lyophilized product is very stable at -20 degrees. Reconstituted material should be aliquoted and frozen at -20.

PURITY:
Greater than 95% as determined by: Analysis by RP-HPLC. Reducing and non-reducing SDS-PAGE.
